Proverbs 22:8

The harvest principle applied to sin: you reap what you sow. Those who sow wickedness and injustice reap emptiness and futility — nothing of lasting value. The 'rod of his anger' — the power they wield through rage and cruelty — will eventually break and fail. Sin is ultimately unproductive.
