Proverbs 22:9

A 'bountiful eye' is a generous, open-hearted way of looking at the world — seeing others' needs and responding. The specific act here is sharing bread — food — with the poor. Generosity is both a character trait and a blessing-receiving posture: those who give generously receive God's blessing in return.
