Proverbs 31:7

Continuing from verse 6, this verse emphasises compassion for those in desperate poverty and misery. The pastoral concern is genuine: relieving suffering is a godly impulse. The deeper lesson is that God cares about the pain of the poor and expects His people to do the same.
