Proverbs 30:14

The fourth wicked generation is predatory — they use their words and power to consume the poor and needy. The image of teeth as swords is vivid: words and social power wielded like weapons against the most vulnerable. This echoes the prophetic condemnations throughout the Old Testament (Isaiah 10:1–2; Amos 5:11–12). Cruelty toward the poor is not a political issue in Scripture — it is a moral catastrophe.
