Proverbs 27:12

Proverbs 27:12

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Wisdom includes foresight — the ability to see consequences and dangers before they arrive and to act accordingly. The prudent person does not wait for the disaster to hit before responding; they read the signs and prepare. The simple person has no such capacity — they walk forward blindly and suffer for it. This is a call to develop discernment, not just reaction.

Memory phrase: Wise people see danger coming.

Talk about it: What does it mean to foresee danger? How can wisdom help you avoid being hurt?

Prayer: God, give me wisdom to see danger and choose right.
