Proverbs 21:28

False testimony — lying about what you witnessed — leads to ruin. But the person who genuinely listens — who takes in what actually happened before speaking — gives reliable, constant testimony. True listening produces truthful speaking. This is a wisdom connection between the inner life (listening) and the outer testimony (speaking).
