Proverbs 15:26

God evaluates not only our actions and words but also our thoughts — the inner life is moral territory. Wicked thoughts — plans of harm, envy, malice — are abhorrent to God even before they become words or deeds. But pure words — flowing from a pure heart — are a delight to Him.
