Proverbs 15:8

Proverbs 15:8

External religious activity without inward righteousness is offensive to God. He sees through ritual worship that is disconnected from genuine obedience. But simple, sincere prayer from an upright person is His delight — He treasures it. God wants the worshipper, not just the worship.

Memory phrase: God delights in upright prayer.

Talk about it: Why does God care about our hearts when we pray?

Prayer: God, let my prayers delight You.
