Proverbs 13:22

Generational thinking is built into wisdom. The good person does not just live for themselves or even just for their children — they think of their grandchildren. Legacy is a key concept here: character, wisdom, and godly wealth outlast a single life. The second half reinforces God's sovereign control: even what wicked people accumulate is ultimately transferred to the just — a recurring biblical theme of reversal.

Memory phrase: Good people build legacy.

Talk about it: What would you want your grandchildren to remember about how you lived?

Prayer: God, help me build a good legacy.
