Proverbs 13:23

Proverbs 13:23

The land of the poor, when properly tended with wisdom, can yield abundant food. This is encouraging: circumstances do not determine outcome as much as wisdom and good judgment do. But poor judgment can destroy even potential abundance. Resources — large or small — require wisdom to bear fruit. Judgment (discernment, wise decision-making) is a form of stewardship.

Memory phrase: Judgment makes things grow.

Talk about it: Can a small thing grow big if you take care of it wisely?

Prayer: God, give me good judgment in all things.
