John 5:43

John 5:43

Jesus came with the Father's authority and mission, asking nothing for Himself. Yet they rejected Him and would readily accept self-promoting leaders. This reveals a preference for human ego over divine humility.

Memory phrase: He came in the Father's name — and was rejected.

Talk about it: Why might people prefer leaders who are impressive and self-promoting over someone like Jesus, who was humble and honest?

Prayer: Jesus, I receive You today. You came representing the Father, and I welcome You into my life.
