John 5:41

John 5:41

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Jesus is not motivated by human approval. His identity is not dependent on what people think of Him. This is in stark contrast to the leaders, whose entire lives were shaped by the opinions of others.

Memory phrase: Jesus did not need human praise.

Talk about it: Why is it a problem to care too much about what other people think of us? How does Jesus model a better way?

Prayer: Jesus, help me not to be addicted to other people's praise. Help me to find my worth in You.
