John 5:40

The problem is not lack of information — they have the Scriptures and the witnesses. The problem is unwillingness. 'Ye will not' is a statement of stubborn resistance. Life is available; they choose not to come.

Memory phrase: They would not come to Jesus for life.

Talk about it: Why would someone refuse to come to Jesus when He offers them life? What gets in the way?

Prayer: Jesus, I choose to come to You today. I don't want to be stubborn — I want You and the life You give.
