John 3:29

John used a wedding picture. He is the best man — his role is to celebrate the groom, not compete with him. And he does it with full, overflowing joy.

Memory phrase: John's joy was full because Jesus was there.

Talk about it: The best man at a wedding is not jealous of the groom — he is happy for him. How can you be truly happy when God blesses others?

Prayer: Jesus, let my greatest joy be Your presence and Your glory — not my own success.
