Proverbs 31:2

The mother's urgent repetition — 'what, my son?' three times — reflects deep love and earnest concern. 'Son of my vows' tells us she had dedicated this child to God in prayer. Parents who dedicate their children to God have a holy responsibility to train them in wisdom.
