Proverbs 30:11

Verses 11–14 describe four types of wicked generations — four portraits of rebellion and evil. The first is a generation that curses the father and shows no honour to the mother. This directly violates the fifth commandment (Exodus 20:12) and is a mark of a society coming apart at its moral foundations. Dishonour of parents is not trivial — it signals the collapse of the most basic human structure God designed.
