Proverbs 30:10

This is a warning against bearing false witness against someone in a weaker social position. Slandering a servant to their master could result in serious harm to the servant — and judgment will fall back on the accuser. The principle is broader: stirring up trouble against the vulnerable through false accusations is a serious wrong that invites divine and social consequences.

Memory phrase: Do not accuse falsely.
