Proverbs 29:25

The 'fear of man' is the controlling anxiety about what others think, say, or do to us — it causes people to lie, compromise, and disobey God to avoid human disapproval. This is one of the most common spiritual traps. The antidote is not fearlessness in oneself but trust in the LORD — the one whose opinion is final and whose protection is real.

Memory phrase: Trust God, not people.

Talk about it: What does it mean to care too much about what people think?

Prayer: God, help me trust You more than I fear people.
