Proverbs 29:4

Justice is the foundation of stable government. When rulers make decisions based on what is right rather than on who paid them, society is established. Bribery corrupts justice at its root — the outcome is decided before evidence is heard. God is the ultimate just Judge, and He calls all human authority to reflect that justice.
