Proverbs 28:20

Proverbs 28:20

Faithfulness — steady, reliable, trustworthy obedience over time — produces abundance of blessing. The contrast is the person in a hurry to be rich: they will not be 'innocent' because the shortcuts taken to get there quickly always involve wrongdoing. Lasting blessing is built through faithful character, not financial shortcuts.

Memory phrase: Be faithful. Not in a rush.

Talk about it: Why is someone who hurries to get rich likely to do something wrong?

Prayer: God, help me be faithful and not greedy for quick riches.
