Proverbs 28:1

Guilt produces a haunting fear — the wicked are always running, even from nothing. Righteousness, by contrast, produces a settled courage grounded not in personality but in a clear conscience before God. The lion imagery evokes strength, calm, and fearlessness — the natural state of the person walking in God's ways.
