Proverbs 27:5

A love that never corrects is not truly loving — it values the other person's comfort over their growth. Open rebuke, given in genuine love and concern, is a far greater gift than affection that stays silent when truth is needed. This is a challenge to the passive, conflict-avoiding version of love that refuses to speak hard truths.

Memory phrase: Speak truth in love.
