Proverbs 26:24

Proverbs 26:24

Dissembling means disguising one's true feelings and intentions. The person who hates uses their lips as a mask — speaking pleasantly while storing up deceit in their heart. This is the sin of hypocrisy at its most dangerous: hatred hidden behind a friendly face.

Memory phrase: Watch for hidden hate.

Talk about it: How can someone hide hatred behind nice words?

Prayer: God, help me be honest always, inside and out.
