Proverbs 26:7

Proverbs 26:7

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

A fool cannot effectively use a wise saying any more than a lame man can use unequal legs to walk straight. Wisdom is not just having the right words — it is having the character, understanding, and life that makes those words ring true. A fool misuses and misapplies wisdom.

Memory phrase: Wisdom needs a wise heart.

Talk about it: Can someone say wise words but still act foolishly?

Prayer: God, give me a wise heart, not just wise words.
