Proverbs 26:2

As a sparrow or swallow darts through the air and lands nowhere permanently, so a curse that has no just cause will not take hold. God governs the moral order; accusations and curses aimed at the innocent are not automatically effective. This is a comfort to those falsely accused and a warning to those who curse carelessly.
