Proverbs 24:9

Proverbs 24:9

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Sin begins in thought — foolishness planned or entertained in the mind is already morally wrong. The scorner (one who mocks wisdom and God) represents an advanced state of moral failure that others recognise and reject.

Memory phrase: Foolish thoughts are sin.

Talk about it: Did you know that wrong thoughts are already doing wrong? How does that change how you guard your mind?

Prayer: God, guard my mind from foolish and wrong thoughts today.
