Proverbs 23:21

Self-indulgence has a cost. Over-drinking and over-eating without restraint leads to poverty — both material and spiritual. Drowsiness (lack of alertness, laziness) is both a cause and a symbol of this kind of decline. The fruit of no self-control is loss.
