Proverbs 22:5

Proverbs 22:5

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

The 'froward' — twisted, perverse — person walks a path full of thorns and snares: obstacles and traps. The person who 'keeps his soul' (guards their inner life, their heart, their choices) will be kept far from these dangers. The path you choose determines what dangers you encounter.

Memory phrase: Guard your heart. Stay safe.

Talk about it: What does it mean to guard your heart?

Prayer: God, help me guard my heart from wrong paths.
