Proverbs 20:22

Proverbs 20:22

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Revenge is forbidden — not because wrong does not matter, but because God is the righteous judge. When we take matters into our own hands, we usurp God's role and often make things worse. Waiting on God is not passivity — it is active trust in His justice. He will save; He will make it right.

Memory phrase: Wait on God — not revenge.

Talk about it: Why is waiting on God better than getting back at someone?

Prayer: God, help me wait for You instead of getting revenge.
