Proverbs 19:22

True attractiveness — what makes a person genuinely desirable as a companion and friend — is their kindness, not their wealth or status. And again the poor-vs-liar contrast: poverty is not shameful, but lying is. A poor honest person has more worth than a wealthy deceiver. Character is the true measure of a person.

Memory phrase: Kindness is your true worth.

Talk about it: What makes a person truly worth knowing?

Prayer: God, make me kind and honest above all else.
