Proverbs 18:9

Laziness and destruction are linked as brothers — family. The one who does sloppy, half-hearted work ends up in the same place as the person who openly wastes and destroys. Both squander what they have been given. Diligence is not optional for the wise — it is a form of faithfulness to God.
