Proverbs 18:6

The fool's speech is inherently argumentative — his lips 'enter into contention,' meaning they initiate strife wherever they go. 'Calleth for strokes' is striking: the fool's words effectively invite physical punishment or severe consequence. Careless, provocative speech has real-world consequences that the fool does not anticipate.
