Proverbs 14:31

Proverbs 14:31

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Every human being bears the image of God. To oppress the poor is therefore not merely social injustice — it is an insult to their Maker. Conversely, showing mercy to the poor is an act of honouring God. How we treat the vulnerable reveals what we actually believe about God.

Memory phrase: Show mercy. Honour God.

Talk about it: How does treating a poor person badly insult God who made them?

Prayer: God, help me show mercy to the poor.
