Proverbs 13:25

Proverbs 13:25

The chapter closes with an image of satisfaction versus craving. The righteous person eats 'to the satisfying of the soul' — this is wholeness, contentment, and nourishment that goes beyond food to the deepest level. The wicked person, despite perhaps having more material wealth, experiences an inner hunger that is never filled. True satisfaction is a fruit of righteousness. This is an eschatological and daily truth: God satisfies those who walk in His ways.

Memory phrase: The righteous are satisfied.

Talk about it: What truly satisfies you — not just for a moment but deeply and lastingly?

Prayer: God, fill and satisfy my soul today.
