Proverbs 13:17

The reliability of a messenger is critical — in the ancient world and in every age. A wicked or untrustworthy messenger corrupts the communication between people; they bring mischief in the very act of conveying a message. A faithful ambassador, by contrast, is described as 'health' — they heal relationships, accurately convey truth, and serve those who trust them. This applies to every person who carries news, advice, or God's message.

Memory phrase: Be a faithful messenger.

Talk about it: What happens when someone shares a message incorrectly or dishonestly?

Prayer: God, help me be faithful and trustworthy.
