Proverbs 13:5

Hatred of lying is a mark of true righteousness — not just avoiding lies when convenient, but genuinely hating them as God does. The wicked person, by contrast, becomes repulsive through their dishonesty and ultimately comes to public shame. Character and reputation are inseparable.
