Proverbs 12:16

Proverbs 12:16

The fool is emotionally reactive — anger immediately visible and out of control. The prudent person practises self-restraint: not suppressing what is real, but managing how and when it is expressed. Wisdom governs emotion rather than being governed by it.

Memory phrase: Wise people stay calm.

Talk about it: What helps you stay calm when you feel really angry?

Prayer: God, help me stay calm when I am angry.
