Proverbs 11:31

Proverbs 11:31

This closing verse is an argument from lesser to greater: if even the righteous receive recompense (reward or consequence) in this life, then certainly the wicked will receive their due — and much more. God's justice is not only eschatological; it is active in history. There is no escape from accountability before God.

Memory phrase: God's justice is real.

Talk about it: Why does it matter that God sees everything we do?

Prayer: God, help me live knowing You see all things.
