John 20:20

The wounds proved it was really Jesus — the same One who died. And in seeing those wounds, fear turned to joy. The scars of the cross are the source of our joy.

Memory phrase: Jesus' wounds bring us joy.

Talk about it: Why did the disciples become joyful when they saw the wounds in Jesus' hands and side?

Prayer: Lord, when I look at what You suffered for me, let my heart fill with joy and gratitude, not just sadness.
