John 20:13

John 20:13

Mary calls Jesus 'my Lord.' Even in grief, her relationship with Him is personal and possessive — He is hers. And even when she doesn't know where He is, she won't stop looking.

Memory phrase: Jesus is my Lord — even when I can't find Him.

Talk about it: Notice Mary said 'my Lord' — not 'the Lord.' What does using the word 'my' tell us about how she felt about Jesus?

Prayer: Jesus, You are MY Lord. Even when I can't feel You or find You, You are still mine and I am Yours.
