John 5:45

John 5:45

Jesus flips their accusation on its head. They think they stand on Moses' authority against Jesus. But Moses himself will be their accuser — because they have not truly followed what Moses wrote.

Memory phrase: Moses will accuse those who reject Jesus.

Talk about it: Why is it ironic that the leaders trusted Moses but rejected Jesus? What had Moses actually written?

Prayer: Lord, help me to be consistent — to truly live by the things I say I believe.
