John 5:8

Jesus doesn't wait for the water to be stirred. He doesn't touch the man. He simply speaks — and His word is powerful enough to do what 38 years of waiting could not. The command to take up the bed and walk signals complete healing.

Memory phrase: Rise, take up your bed and walk!

Talk about it: Jesus didn't use the pool at all — He just spoke. What does that tell us about how powerful His words are?
