John 5:6

Jesus singled out this one man from a crowd of sick people. He knew the man's whole story. His question is not ignorant — it invites the man to express his desire and engage his will.

Memory phrase: Jesus asked, 'Do you want to be well?'

Talk about it: Why do you think Jesus asked 'Do you want to be made well?' when it was obvious the man was sick?

Prayer: Jesus, You see me and You know my story. I do want to be well — in my body and in my heart.
