John 3:31

John was making the same point as Jesus in v13 — Jesus' heavenly origin gives Him supreme authority. What He says matters more than anything anyone on earth says.

Memory phrase: Jesus comes from above — He is above all.

Talk about it: If Jesus is 'above all,' what should that mean for how we treat His words?

Prayer: Jesus, You are above every voice, every authority, every opinion. Help me to listen to You above everything else.
