John 3:14

Jesus pointed to Numbers 21 — when Israel was dying from snake bites, Moses lifted a bronze serpent and those who looked at it were healed. Jesus would be 'lifted up' on the cross — and all who look to Him in faith will be saved.

Memory phrase: Jesus must be lifted up so we can be saved.

Talk about it: In the Old Testament, the people who looked at the bronze snake were healed. What do we need to look at to be saved?

Prayer: Jesus, I look to You — lifted up on the cross — and I trust that You save me.
