The soul that doeth … presumptuously. Literally, "with a high hand," i.e; defiantly. A similar phrase is used of God himself (). The same reproacheth the Lord, מְגַדֵּף, revileth. Septuagint, παροξυνεῖ In it is translated "blasphemeth."
