Proverbs 30:18

The tone shifts from warning to wonder. Agur now turns to marvellous things — things that fill him with awe because he cannot fully understand them. This models the posture of a wise person: they are not only alert to what is wrong in the world, but genuinely amazed by what is mysterious and beautiful. Wonder is itself a spiritual virtue.
