Proverbs 30:8

Agur's two requests are: (1) deliverance from falsehood and worthless things, and (2) provision of exactly what he needs — neither wealth nor poverty. This prayer of 'just enough' is extraordinarily wise. It shows that Agur knows his own weaknesses and prays accordingly. Contentment is not passive acceptance but active trust in God's measured provision.
