Proverbs 29:12

Leadership determines culture. When a ruler accepts lies — whether from pride, laziness, or preference — dishonest people fill the court because they know they will be rewarded. Honest people leave or are pushed out. This verse is a warning about the power of what leaders choose to listen to and reward.
