Proverbs 28:11

Wealth creates the illusion of wisdom — if things have gone well materially, a person often assumes they must be wise. But this is conceit, not wisdom. The poor person with genuine understanding from God can discern what the rich person's pride blinds him to. True wisdom is not wealth-dependent — it is God-given.

Memory phrase: Wealth is not true wisdom.

Talk about it: Why does being rich not automatically mean someone is wise?

Prayer: God, give me true wisdom, not just pride in what I have.
